Customer Service Rep
Position:
Part‑time
This role provides customer service and operational support in a Domino’s Pizza store, ensuring high‑quality food, accurate orders and a clean environment.
Responsibilities- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Enter orders into the system using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Provide verbal, written and telephone communication with customers and co‑workers.
- Produce accurate monetary change.
- Maintain speed and accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Strong arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); calculator use acceptable.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
- Motor coordination and eye‑hand coordination for quick, precise movements.
- Ability to use a computer or touchscreen for order entry.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull and bend as described below.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- Indoor temperatures may range from 36°F to 90°F or higher in some areas.
- Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.
- Near‑ and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception necessary for many tasks.
- Stand for most tasks; walking surfaces are ceramic tile “bricks” and linoleum.
- Walk and move around a standing office area.
- Lift bulk product deliveries (50 lb, 3 ft × 1.5 ft) and stack onto shelves up to 72 in. high.
- Carry large cans (3 lb 7 oz) from the workstation to storage shelves.
- Move pizza sauce (30 lb) from storage to front of store.
- Carry and push trays of pizza dough (12 lb each) over short distances; push a stack of trays on a dolly up to 7.5 lb force.
- Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for maintenance tasks.
- Forward bend, crouch, squat and reach at angles; reach above 72 in. to turn controls and lift objects.
- Use hands continuously: shape dough, use pizza peel and cutting tools, assemble cardboard boxes, grasp cans and telephone.
