Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
General Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on all different makes and models of construction equipment and vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work on all equipment from weed eaters to heavy equipment.
- Experience in all fields is a plus but not necessary.
- Must have your own tools necessary to complete jobs.
- Ability to work in some adverse weather conditions.
- Must be safety oriented.
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Diagnostic ability.
- CDL is a plus.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Oil changes and preventive maintenance.
Would prefer three to five years of experience in light duty truck, heavy truck or construction equipment mechanics. Pay depending on experience.
Licenses and Certifications- DOT Medical Card.
