Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations ensuring the smooth functioning of the labor camp, including accommodation, sanitation, and recreational facilities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of labor camp residents, including attendance, accommodation details, and any incidents.
  • Enforce camp rules and regulations to ensure a safe and disciplined environment for all residents.
  • Coordinate and supervise the provision of meals, ensuring food quality, hygiene standards, and dietary requirements are met.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints and grievances promptly and effectively, acting as a point of contact.
  • Manage and maintain camp infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, and equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies within the camp.
  • Supervise and coordinate waste management and disposal processes to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the camp facilities, identifying and addressing potential hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers, contractors, and government authorities as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as food safety or first aid, is advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in labor camp management, or a similar role within the construction or hospitality industries.
  • Proven experience in managing a diverse workforce and dealing with cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and health & safety regulations in the region of operation.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Ability to use computer applications, including MS Office and camp management software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills are crucial.
