Key Operational Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control departmental costs to ensure operational efficiency and budget compliance.
- Analyze expenses and support cost‑saving initiatives across the resort.
- Promote Jayasom’s wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets.
- Analyze operational costs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
- Monitor expenditures and provide budget versus actual analysis and financial reports.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, receiving, stock control, and storeroom operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of storerooms, inventory conditions, cleanliness, and temperature controls.
- Ensure proper storage practices, stock rotation, sanitation, and inventory security standards are maintained.
- Perform inventory audits and reconciliations to minimize waste and shrinkage.
- Negotiate with suppliers and review vendor performance, pricing, and contract compliance.
- Review and approve expense requests in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Support audits, financial controls, and reporting processes with accurate documentation.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision‑making.
- Conduct cost‑awareness training and promote collaboration between departments to achieve cost control objectives.
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 5‑star resort environment, preferably with pre‑opening exposure and experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi taxation, accounting principles, budgeting, cost analysis, and multiple currency handling.
- Proficiency in accounting and financial IT systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, and financial control skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
- Positive, reliable, adaptable, and professional attitude with strong work ethics and integrity.
