Chief Engineer- Six Senses Southern Dunes, Red Sea

• Ensure the efficient operation of the Engineering department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
• Work strategically with the Director of Engineering to develop cohesive and productive goals for the department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them.
• Support overall consistency of the Company's vision, quality and standards, and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Focus on the rejuvenation of the department.
• Ensure that products and services remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Review regularly through physical presence, maintaining rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
• Manage the day-to-day operations, logistical management, maintenance and repair of all Fire Life Safety systems.
• Complete guest requests and support all operational departments as instructed by the Director of Engineering.
• Maintain day-to-day logistical management, maintenance and repair of tasks highlighted in the HUB service call system.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property's water bodies.
• Coordinate outside vendors to complete servicing of equipment.
• Maintain record keeping, documentation and reports as specified by Six Senses brand guidelines.
• Act as first responder to all Life/Fire safety issues and occasional risk/loss activities.
• Own and coordinate oversight of all health and safety issues relating to the property.
• Manage tasks assigned to FLS, health and safety, and energy-conservation committees.
• Ensure the product remains in optimal order and in line with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Minimize payroll costs by maximizing productivity and efficient scheduling of hosts.
• Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the operation.
• Complete accurately all corporate reporting requirements for the role.
• Attend or conduct designated meetings and briefings as instructed by the manager.
• Perform any additional duties given by the manager.
