Job Purpose

The Manager
- Adventure Operations is a multi site role responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of adventure programs across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations.

Working closely with senior leadership, this role ensures the effective operational rollout of adventure assets while contributing to the growth of a diverse portfolio of inland and outdoor experiences. The role combines operational leadership, program development, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver safe, high quality, and immersive guest experiences aligned with luxury hospitality standards and regenerative tourism principles.

The position also plays a key role in team development, training delivery, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and sustainable operations across the destination.

Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Leadership
  • Support the Senior Adventure Management team in the day to day operations of all adventure assets.
  • Oversee the delivery of inland adventure and action sports activities, ensuring safety, quality, and consistency.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with company standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance and guest experience standards across multiple sites.
2. Program Development & Growth
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of unique adventure offerings across the destination.
  • Support the design and implementation of new experiences, ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.
  • Participate in the creative development and enhancement of adventure programs to maximize value and guest engagement.
  • Promote all adventure activities across the destination, including cross functional offerings such as diving and marine experiences.
  • Support, mentor, and guide a diverse team of instructors, guides, and junior staff.
  • Assist in delivering training programs to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Foster a high performance, safety driven, and guest focused team culture.
  • Contribute to performance management and continuous development of team members.
4. Asset & Equipment Management
  • Ensure all adventure sites, facilities, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Support inventory management, maintenance planning, and operational readiness across all locations.
5. Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
  • Ensure full compliance with international adventure sports standards, local regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation measures.
  • Enforce safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk assessments across all activities.
  • Promote environmental responsibility and sustainable tourism practices.
6. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Asset Management, Destination Marketing, and Delivery teams.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as government entities and sport federations to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Support community engagement and ensure local stakeholders are informed and involved where applicable.
  • Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and operational frameworks to ensure consistency and control.
  • Assist in preparing accurate reports, MIS statements, and operational updates for senior management.
  • Participate in regular review sessions to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with international best practices, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Sports Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in adventure tourism, outdoor recreation, or resort operations.
  • Proven experience delivering adventure sports activities in a high end resort or hospitality environment.
