Accounting & Administrative Assistant (AP/AR & Office Administration)

Wagon master is a growing, sales-driven company looking for a confident, organized professional who enjoys both accounting and office administration. This is a hands‑on role where approximately half of your time will focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, while the other half will support office administration, reporting, and business operations.

What You'll Do Accounting Responsibilities (Approximately 50%)- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain the general ledger, accounting records, journals, and supporting documentation
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close activities and financial reporting
- Prepare documentation for external accountants and tax reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
- Coordinate day‑to‑day office administration
- Support the sales, operations, and finance teams with reporting and administrative requests
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Assist with customer service and general office coordination
- Help improve administrative processes and workflow efficiency
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas required; VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are considered an asset)
- Experience using accounting software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines
- Confidence working with employees across multiple departments
- Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently
