Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity in Lakewood, WA. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support audits and special projects
