Job Description

This position provides clerical and administrative functions to support the day-to-day activities of the Tacoma warehouse. The Administrative Assistant provides customer service to Odom employees and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take sales orders and enter these orders into the order processing system
  • Produce invoices, bills of lading, and other documents related to customer orders and inventory transfers shipped to other branch warehouses
  • Assist in successfully resolving customer issues (both internal and external)
  • Perform basic reporting functions
  • Interact daily with employees and management from multiple departments
  • Assist with day‑to‑day clerical activities (filing, document scanning, data entry, etc.)
  • Other duties assigned as necessary
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; related experience or training in customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Beverage distribution support experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be detail‑oriented, with problem‑solving ability, strong organization and multi‑tasking skills
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Must be flexible and adapt easily to change
  • Must be able to work effectively and productively in a team setting as well as independently
