Job Summary
This position supports Ohio Health Learning with daily operations related to coordination of system learning activities. The role reports to the Manager of Learning Logistics and assists various learning activity managers.
Responsibilities and Duties- Primary coordination of four learning programs: PSA Onboarding, Nursing Student Placement, Jump Start, and CME & I.
- Manage training logistics such as reserving classrooms, preparing worklists, scheduling instructors, and monitoring labs.
- Support LMS activities: process new nursing CE items, generate reports, troubleshoot course access, and maintain course assignments.
- Coordinate nursing student placements with colleges and nurse managers, manage placement requests, and maintain accurate placement records.
- Oversee RN Jump Start program logistics, maintain supply catalogs, and generate annual program reports.
- Assist the CME & I Coordinator with simulation center calendars, data collection, and administrative support.
- Support the OHL System Director with calendar management, meeting minutes, expense reports, and catering coordination.
- Provide office and administrative support: schedule and update classes, prepare spreadsheets, maintain files, process invoices, and order supplies.
- Answer incoming calls, manage relationships with external vendors, and maintain stakeholder contact databases.
- Assist with learning system/database administration, including course grading, annual LMS maintenance, and usage reporting.
- Perform additional duties as requested, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- At least three years of experience in the Ohio Health system or related healthcare environment.
- Additional four years of directly related experience may substitute for a requirement of an Associate’s Degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access;
Ohio Health intranet; web‑based surveys; and Lotus Notes. - Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of training techniques and conference coordination is helpful.
Day shift, 40 hours per week, scheduled weekly.
