Program Administrator

Location: Primarily Remote (Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, or Virginia)

Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour

Job Type: Ongoing Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of various programs and initiatives. This position is primarily remote and ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating projects, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing programs and projects.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules, and distribute meeting materials and follow-up communications.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and program activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, databases, and program documentation.
  • Assist with preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program participants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support event planning, training sessions, and virtual meetings as needed.
  • Monitor and organize shared files, ensuring documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
  • Research information, compile data, and generate reports for management.
  • Perform additional administrative and project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project administration, administrative support, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining databases, tracking projects, and preparing reports.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, government, association, or corporate environment.
