Location: Primarily Remote (Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, or Virginia)
Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour
Job Type: Ongoing Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
About the OpportunityOur client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of various programs and initiatives. This position is primarily remote and ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating projects, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing programs and projects.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules, and distribute meeting materials and follow-up communications.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and program activities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, databases, and program documentation.
- Assist with preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
- Serve as a point of contact for program participants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support event planning, training sessions, and virtual meetings as needed.
- Monitor and organize shared files, ensuring documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
- Research information, compile data, and generate reports for management.
- Perform additional administrative and project-related duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project administration, administrative support, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience maintaining databases, tracking projects, and preparing reports.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools.
- Experience working in a nonprofit, government, association, or corporate environment.
