Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts and Records Specialist:

  • Conduct conflict checks and prepare conflict reports for new and existing matters. Maintain client and matter information within financial management and records systems. Respond to attorney and staff inquiries regarding conflicts, file openings, and records requests. Coordinate retrieval, storage, transfer, and disposition of client and administrative files. Manage off-site records storage processes and vendor relationships. Prepare files and boxes for archiving and maintain accurate records inventories.

Qualifications for the Conflicts and Records Specialist:

  • High school diploma or GED required. 3+ years of law firm records management experience. Experience with records systems, file administration, and conflicts management processes. Ability to accurately manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records. Strong computer skills and proficiency with database or records management software. Ability to lift and move files and boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.
