This is a unique chance to join King County Parks as our Fleet and Stores Administrator—a role central to keeping our parks running smoothly. The Fleet and Stores Administrator will play a vital role in supporting King County Parks’ mission to steward public spaces and serve our community. This position ensures our various teams have the vehicles, tools, and materials they need to maintain parks, trails, and natural areas across the county. By assisting fleet operations, improving inventory and asset tracking, and advancing data driven processes and reporting, the role directly enhances our ability to deliver reliable, equitable, and environmentally responsible services.

This position follows a hybrid work model, blending remote and in-person work.
The Fleet and Stores Administrator is part of the Parks Director’s Office, a section that provides strategic, administrative, and operational support across the entire Parks Division. Our work helps align daily operations with the division’s mission to steward public spaces, advance equity, and strengthen environmental sustainability. In this role, you will work closely with Parks Maintenance Operations and other work groups to ensure staff have the resources, tools, and dependable fleet services needed to care for parks, trails, and natural areas countywide.

WhatYou Will Be Doing:
- Participate in the development, coordination and support of Fleet and Stores programs or projects for assigned work unit.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for assigned dashboard reporting and research projects; prepare summary reports of analysis.
- Provide information for management and staff on program administrative policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and/or revisions to SOP’s and documentation within assigned work unit.
- Help maintain dashboards and reporting to support work activities; administer and monitor such dashboards.
- Administer the tracking of Parks Fleet and Stores Assets.
- Maintain program SharePoint sites and manage site information access.
- Represent the work unit, division or department on internal committees as assigned.
