Position OverviewThe Labor & Timekeeping Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely review, validation, processing, and entry of Labor Tickets for the Tacoma Foundry and Machine Shop. The role identifies and tracks discrepancies, coordinates required corrections and approvals, maintains accurate records, and supports Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders with labor and timekeeping information. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
PrimaryResponsibilities and Accountabilities
- Review, validate, process and accurately enter Labor Tickets for assigned Foundry and Machine Shop departments
- Ensure Labor Tickets are complete, accurate, and properly approved in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Identify, document, and track errors, omissions, and discrepancies, and coordinate corrections and required approvals
- Maintain the Labor Ticket Error & Omission Log and supporting documentation
- Perform routine reconciliations and quality checks to ensure labor and timekeeping records are complete and accurate
- Identify and elevate timekeeping, labor-charging, and time-reporting concerns to the appropriate Supervisor, Manager, and/or Controller
- Process and prioritize Labor Tickets in a timely manner and communicate potential delays, discrepancies, or compliance concerns to the Controller
- Prepare labor-ticket records, reports, and supporting documentation for Finance and assist with internal and external audit requests as needed
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Company record-retention and confidentiality requirements
- Develop and document procedures as needed to support accurate and efficient timekeeping processes
- Maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, Operations, Site Leadership, Finance, and auditors

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong deductive reasoning skills are critical
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
- 3+ years of administrative, timekeeping, data processing, finance support, or other closely related experience
- Experience with high-volume data entry and recordkeeping preferredLI>
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- High Level of competence with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems preferred
- Good computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to use stairs regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift up-to 20lbs
Pay Range: $54,k/year (salaried, non-exempt)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
