PAY RANGE The Target Pay Range for this position is $-$ annually. The full Pay Range is $ - $ annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.

As the Strategic Support Director – People Team, you'll help shape the future of BECU by turning strategy into meaningful action. Partnering with senior leaders across the organization, you'll connect enterprise priorities with People Team strategies and business execution, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned, integrated, and successfully delivered. Your ability to build relationships, influence across teams, and identify opportunities for collaboration will help strengthen organizational effectiveness while creating positive experiences for employees, members, and the business.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting merger, acquisition, and integration activities by helping translate complex people, process, and organizational needs into clear plans, coordinated execution, and thoughtful employee experiences. In this highly visible individual contributor role, you'll serve as a strategic partner within the People Team, bringing together people, processes, and communication to keep leaders and teams aligned, engaged, and moving toward shared goals.

To join our dynamic team in this role, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, , CA, AZ, TX, NC, SC, GA, or VA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week.

For those candidates that live outside the commutable distance to TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

• Partner on Business Strategy:
  Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and manage the business unit's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with BECU's enterprise vision and strategic roadmap.
