As the Project Engineer, you will be onsite in Washington and will provide technical, administrative, and field‑level support to the Construction and Project Management team to ensure successful execution of construction projects at Joint Base Lewis‑McChord (JBLM). You are responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting, supporting schedule and subcontract administration, coordinating with field personnel, and assisting with quality control and compliance activities.

You play a key role in supporting project performance, documentation integrity, and communication between field operations, project management, and external stakeholders.

• Prepare and maintain daily project reporting including timekeeping, environmental and permit compliance documentation, and daily construction logs.
• Create, organize, and maintain project records including inspection reports, job diaries, photographs, video logs, and subcontractor documentation.
• Assist with submittal preparation, tracking, and log management, including RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, and approvals.
• Support Requests for Information (RFI) development, tracking, and response coordination between field teams, design teams, and owners.
• Provide field inspections and work activity logging as required to support quality control and progress verification.
• Support oversight of field craft personnel to ensure work is performed accurately, safely, and in accordance with the project schedule and specifications.
• Assist the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Quality Control staff, and Superintendent with job‑related administrative, technical, and coordination tasks.
