Washington DC (DMV)

We’re looking for experienced Project Managers to join a very well-established and growing construction team delivering high-profile projects across multi-family, high-rise residential and hospitality construction.

This is an excellent opportunity for construction professionals looking to take ownership of major projects, work closely with senior leadership and continue progressing within an established contractor.

As Project Manager you’ll take responsibility for projects from preconstruction through final closeout, including:

  • Managing structural concrete projects from award through completion
  • Project budgeting, cost tracking and forecasting
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Managing change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
  • Coordinating closely with Superintendents and field operations
  • Managing relationships with General Contractors, owners and project stakeholders
  • Monitoring labor, materials, equipment and overall project performance
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and concrete scopes
  • Identifying project risks and resolving issues before they impact schedule or cost
  • Leading project closeout and final financial reconciliation

You will ideally have:

  • Experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
  • Structural concrete experience is strongly preferred
  • Candidates from strong General Contractor backgrounds with significant concrete exposure will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of project costs, schedules, contracts and change management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and client-management skills
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred
