VCA Parkway in Tacoma, WA is currently seeking a full time Client Service Representative to join our General Practice clinic. Previous client service or veterinary clinic experience preferred.

If you can’t wait to help people and their pets, we can’t wait to meet you! We are open 6 days a week. Business hours are M-F 8AM‑6PM, Sat 8AM‑3PM. We are closed on Sundays.
Responsibilities- Customer service functions including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow‑ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, processing payments.
- Assisting clients in obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal care and non‑medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste in the lobby area) and ensuring that the facility is neat and clean at all times.
