Client Service Representative

VCA Pacific Avenue Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team on a full‑time basis. At VCA Animal Hospitals, your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal. From the first phone call we aim to exceed expectations and offer world‑class service.

• Customer service; greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow‑ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, processing payments.
• Assisting clients in obtaining products and services.
• Answering general questions and educating clients on non‑medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance—including removal of animal waste as necessary—and ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times, both inside and outside.

$19–$21.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Full‑time schedule with availability for some weekend and evening shifts.
