The Target Pay Range for this position is $21.65-$24.23 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.65-$28.65 hourly. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job‑related skills, experience, and education or training. An offer may consider individual qualifications. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

The Teller role plays a crucial part in providing quality service to our members. With excellent member service skills and knowledge of credit union policies and procedures, you will ensure that all teller transactions are conducted accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner, making a positive impact on our members’ banking experience.

The listed pay ranges reflect our commitment to internal equity and market competitiveness. For Tellers: $21.65 - $22.00 per hour. Offers are made within this range, taking into account experience, skills, and alignment with internal team compensation. Starting pay typically does not exceed the midpoint.
About This Role & Schedule Expectations- Position Location:
Pierce County Financial Center (PCFC) - Training Locations:
Tukwila Financial Center (TFC) – 15 days - Training includes 10–15 required training days at the Tukwila Financial Center during the first five weeks.
- One‑year commitment:
All new hires are expected to remain in the role and schedule for at least one year before pursuing other opportunities. - Travel required:
Ability to commute to both assigned branch and the Tukwila Financial Center for training. - Schedule flexibility:
Tellers work varying shifts during operating hours, including up to three Saturdays per month.
- First 5 weeks, Monday–Friday
- Paid training between approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Includes 10–15 required training days at the Tukwila Financial Center
- Monday–Friday shifts between 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Up to 3 rotational Saturdays per month: 8:45 AM – 1:30 PM
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year of customer service or relevant experience
- Teller or cash handling experience
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Experience promoting and selling financial products or services
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial transactions
- Successful completion of in-house teller training program
- Proficient math skills for accurate account transactions
- Ability to multitask
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to handle member concerns professionally
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion and sound judgment
- Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives and goals
