Now Hiring - Customer Solutions Coordinator

At R Transport, we believe great customer service isn't about answering the phone—it's about solving problems, communicating clearly, and making it easy for customers to do business with us.

We're looking for a Customer Solutions Coordinator to become one of the first people our customers interact with. This position plays a critical role in supporting our Territory Managers, Dispatch Team, and Operations by ensuring customers receive prompt, professional, and exceptional service from the first phone call through project completion.

If you're organized, enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and online inquiries.
  • Assist customers with transportation requests, scheduling questions, and general information.
  • Support Territory Managers by preparing quotes, customer documentation, and project files.
  • Coordinate customer communications before, during, and after projects.
  • Work closely with Dispatch to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM and operating systems.
  • Assist with customer onboarding and account setup.
  • Track project documentation and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Help coordinate customer notifications, permits, manifests, and supporting paperwork when required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Loves helping people.
  • Stays calm under pressure.
  • Is exceptionally organized.
  • Communicates professionally in person, on the phone, and by email.
  • Can manage several priorities at once.
  • Enjoys solving problems.
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.

If you've ever been described as "the one who keeps everything together," you'll probably fit right in.

Environmental, transportation, construction, industrial services, or waste industry experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of customer relations, operations, logistics, project management, or transportation experience, preferably in the environmental services industry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience gathering project information and assisting with the preparation of accurate, profitable quotes.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Working knowledge of RCRA and special and dangerous waste logistics in the Pacific Northwest.
Work Location

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on customer and operational needs. Occasional travel to R Transport locations and customer or project sites may also be required.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Fife, Washington office.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience: $30–$35 per hour.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Stable, year-round employment.
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing company.
Why R Transport?

R Transport isn't your typical transportation company—and this isn't your typical job.

We're building one of the Pacific Northwest's premier environmental transportation companies, specializing in hazardous materials, special waste, contaminated soils, industrial materials, roll-off services, bulk transportation, and complex environmental logistics.

We move fast, solve problems, and aren't afraid to tackle projects that others won't. We believe in doing what we say, treating customers right, and finding a way to get the job done safely and professionally.

We're looking for people who take ownership, enjoy building relationships, and want to be part of something that's growing. If you like bureaucracy and endless meetings...well...this probably isn't the place for you. If you enjoy making decisions, solving real problems, and helping build something exceptional, we'd love to meet you.

Apply today and help shape the future of environmental transportation in the Pacific Northwest.
