SUMMARYThis position provides general office assistance to the Principal and office staff in assigned school office, provides support and quality customer service to students, parents, staff, and the public.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSchool office environment; experiences frequent interruptions; may occasionally deal with difficult or distraught people; may be exposed to infectious diseases; may be required to walk, sit, squat, crawl, kneel, crouch, twist, bend.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience
High School graduation or equivalent; experience in dealing with children and the public;preferably in an educational setting;or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.
Licenses/Special RequirementsMay be required to obtain first aid certificate or CPR training.
Fingerprints and successful WSP and FBI background clearance/sexual misconduct clearance
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of general office procedures.
- Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and English usage.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn and use student information systems such as Synergy, and other school-based data systems.
- Skill in obtaining, clarifying, and exchanging information.

- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable, reliable and regular attendance.
