A registered nurse (RN) is needed for a contract position serving high school students in the Tacoma, WA area. This 32.5 hours per week role provides vital nursing support primarily at a high school setting with additional responsibilities in a preschool health room.

• Active Washington state RN license required
• Previous one‑on‑one nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work on‑site in a high school and preschool health room
• Willingness to ride the bus with students as needed
• Competency in managing G‑tube feedings and collaborating with support staff

• Providing direct nursing care during the school day and afternoon transportation
• Working in the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays
• Offering one‑on‑one nursing support at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Administering and monitoring G‑tube feedings via a Mickey button, including initiating feedings upon school arrival and stopping them prior to bus departure
• Coordinating care with parents, siblings, and school staff to ensure seamless student support
• Assisting with routine checks and occasional brief transfers, collaborating closely with paraprofessionals
