Additional InformationEducational Support Professional positions hired after March 8th, 2026 will be paid in equal installments for each pay period between their date of hire and last pay period of the year. Last pay check for the 25‑26 school year will be on July 2nd and benefits will not be eligible after June 30th, 2026. The first paycheck for the following school year will be September 20th, 2026.
This position is a district deployed assignment and may be subject to change locations based on district needs. It is scheduled to work at First Creek Middle School for the 2025‑2026 school year. This position requires fluency in the Spanish language.
This position requires completion and attainment of the state mandated General Para educator Certificate. The Para educator Certificate Program offers statewide standards‑based training for all para educator/Education Support Professionals (ESP) and supports a career growth ladder for those who wish to advance their career as a para educator or pursue a teaching profession. Staff will be required to complete 28 hours of training on the Fundamental Course of Study provided by the district.
The first two days of FCS training will be required to be completed within four months of the date of hire, and the second two days within six months of the date of hire, or by September 1 of the next school year. The general certificate is then earned by a para educator who completes ten days (70 clock hours) of professional development training.
This position facilitates the social and academic adjustment of bilingual students. The position provides direct instruction to individual bilingual students or groups of students.
