Recess Monitor

Overview

Cascade Christian Schools serves students and families throughout Pierce County, focusing on Christ-centered education. Founded in 1992, the district offers education from infants through grade twelve.

• Supervise the playground during daily recess times.
• Assist teachers with tasks as assigned.
• Create a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom.
• Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and application of educational technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Customer‑service and public‑relations focus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexibility.
• Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action.
• First‑aid and CPR‑certified or willing to receive and pass certification training.

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Approximately August 15, 2026.

$17.80 – $20.65 per hour, depending on qualifications.
