THRIVE Summer Camp Assistant Counselor

JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Assist in providing children with a developmentally appropriate program that meets the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children

* Encourage children's development of independent functioning, as appropriate to the age of the child

* Teach and actively engage students in each activity

* Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times

* Attend field trips, providing direction and safety while off-site

* Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere

* Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be eighteen years of age

* Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements

* Have a background clearance

* Have a food worker card, if applicable

* Willing to complete HIV/AIDS training and annual blood borne pathogens training

* Attend an agency orientation.

* Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators

* Perform all expected duties in a professional manner

WORK HOURS:

Monday through Friday 7:15am - 3:00pm

THIS POSITION RUNS FROM JUNE 11- AUGUST 14, 2026

Salary Range:

$19.05-$22.30 per Hour, depending on qualifications
