Position: Director of Education (63464)

The Role (Primary Responsibilities)
  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and manage faculty members and staff by providing day‑to‑day performance coaching and monthly advisements.
  • Recruit, train and develop faculty members and staff.
  • Conduct classroom observations on a regular basis.
  • Work with faculty members to perform curriculum reviews to improve the quality of instruction.
  • Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for an effective student learning experience.
  • Ensure all students are advised regularly regarding their progress.
  • Advise, coach, and monitor all students at risk of violating attendance or academic progress policies.
  • Administer student surveys and ensure timely review; prepare action plans to address concerns and feedback collected through such surveys.
  • Monitor campus‑level metrics related to retention, attendance, and completion outcomes to meet campus and organizational objectives.
  • Manage the Education department budget, including staff, faculty, and resources allocation, to ensure effective operations and meet critical targets and goals in student retention, completion, and Active Earning Population.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of combined management, teaching and education administration experience.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development:
    Demonstrated understanding of what students need to succeed in a post‑secondary environment and a track record of effective teaching, curriculum development and education administration.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Modern Workforce

    Skills:

    Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and other daily software tools.
  • Management:
    Proven self‑starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can build a great team.
