Job Description

Make a positive impact as a School Psychologist in a supportive educational setting near Willimantic, CT. This onsite contract opportunity focuses on middle school students in grades 6 through 8, providing both regular and special education counseling and assessment services during the academic year.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current, valid Connecticut School Psychologist license
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers
  • Commitment to supporting the social-emotional and educational needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho educational assessments for both general and special education students
  • Develop recommendations and interventions to support student learning and well-being
  • Participate in Student Support Team and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional concerns
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend strategies for academic and behavioral support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

This role runs from late August through the end of the school year, with a flexible schedule of 24-32 hours per week.
