Job requirements include strong math proficiency through calculus, passion for math and working with students, excellent interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn and be trained, high motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm, classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus, desire to work through the entire school year is required, and previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.

Hiring process includes submitting your application with resume, in-person interview at our center and completing a math exam with a passing score, and successfully passing a background check. All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
