• Current Washington State Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Familiarity with a variety of disabilities and tailored instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with instructional teams, support staff, and families

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address a diverse spectrum of student needs
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paras, related service providers, and families to enhance student success
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress regularly
• Employ evidence-based instructional techniques and adaptive resources
• Contribute to school meetings and professional development sessions
