Position Title: Special Education Teacher – Resource Room
Resource Room:
This program provides remedial academic assistance for all students. All students have identified disabilities that require specially designed instruction in order to assist the student in being successful. The specially designed instruction may be delivered in resource room or in the general education classrooms. In addition to direct teaching responsibilities, the resource teacher develops and supervises the specially designed instruction and is responsible for scheduling and direction para educators in the performance of their duties.

This position is represented by the MEA collective bargaining unit. The position will work a schedule in coordination with the District student calendar under the direction of the school administrator. Salary and benefits as determined by the current collective bargaining agreement.
EVALUATION PROCEDURES:Performance shall be evaluated annually according to Board and administrative policies and procedures.
