What You Will Do

We are looking for a Structural Project Engineer to help us make a real impact in our Tacoma office. If you enjoy working with a team that values creativity, celebrates successes, and supports each other through challenges, then AHBL is the place for you! In this role you will provide structural analysis and design on both new and renovation projects, including civic centers, industrial buildings, educational facilities, maintenance buildings, medical office buildings, mid‑rise mixed‑use developments, and military projects utilizing a full range of building materials.

You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to ensure client satisfaction on every project.

What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering
  • EIT Certification
  • 2‑4 years of progressive experience in structural analysis and design
  • Knowledge of Steel, Concrete, and Wood Design
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
  • Familiarity with International Building Code and ASCE 7
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Anything on this list would be an asset, but is not required:

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of Masonry Design
Compensation And Benefits
  • Project Engineer II – $73,300 – $93,400 per year
  • Project Engineer III – $80,000 – $110,000 per year
  • Annual discretionary performance‑based bonus
