Role Description

Momentum Civil is seeking a licensed professional engineer with 4 or more years of experience in civil engineering. This is an on‑site full‑time role based in Tacoma, WA. The typical job tasks and expectations include:

  • Project research related to pertinent regulatory requirements, existing utilities, and reports prepared by other consultants
  • Design and review of site plans, site grading, water, sewer, storm drainage systems within the Civil3D environment
  • Preparation of and review of design calculations and reports
  • Coordination with clients, subconsultants, municipalities and regulatory agencies
  • Mentoring junior staff to support our collaborative team environment
  • Staying current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (Washington State preferred, but not required)
  • Proficient in civil engineering design, related technical skills, planning, and execution of projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and work on‑site
  • Proficient in stormwater modeling using WWHM and other software
  • Knowledge of Stormwater Management and environmental regulatory compliance
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering
