K ’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. This role supports the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) at the Pentagon, applying acquisition and program management subject matter expertise to the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of Counter Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (C-UxS) developmental projects.

• Work closely with OPNAV N4 military and civilian leads, executing their guidance.
• Maintain situational awareness of current and developing threats and C-UxS solutions, adhering to DoW standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
• Follow applicable DoW acquisition and program management procedures and policies.
• Coordinate and lead regular program management reviews of active, funded RDT&E projects to develop C-UxS solutions.
• Lead corrective actions for underperforming projects.
• Lead annual reviews of proposals for RDT&E projects to develop C-UxS materiel solutions.
• Identify acquisition courses of action (COAs) for new RDT&E proposals and staff them through the approval process.
• Coordinate with the DON Resource Management team and supporting acquisition organization for accurate, timely budget execution reporting and future fiscal year planning.
• Provide project management coordination and leadership for DON-led projects.
• Coordinate operational planning teams and working groups with staff and external stakeholders for special subjects or issues.
• Coordinate staffing actions and taskers in accordance with OPNAV SOPs and policies.
• Prepare written products (emails, presentations, information papers, reports, executive summaries) following OPNAV procedures and policies.
• Support the Project Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget formulation process as directed by the resource sponsor.
• Prepare, process, and respond to tasking received via Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and generate tasking assignments to subordinate commands.
• Demonstrate oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
• Maintain a working understanding of the relationship and responsibilities of the DON, including the offices of the Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations.
• Respond to requests for information from stakeholders such as Congress, OSD, and the Services.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) or business field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of related work experience.
• Active Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred:
  Eight or more years of related experience, Active Top Secret clearance, and a Master’s Degree in an applicable field.
