Shape the future of engineering with Krazan & Associates! We are seeking a Professional Engineer to join our team in Tacoma, WA.
As a Professional Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing our Geotechnical engineering and construction testing & inspection teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer that values professional development and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical field investigations and construction site observations to assess soil and foundation conditions
- Conduct technical reviews of reports, specifications, and construction documents
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs/RFQs for new projects
- Manage multiple geotechnical projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines
- Oversee and mentor technical staff and field personnel in geotechnical testing and inspecting procedures
- Analyze soil and foundation data, preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide expert geological insights.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- PE or EIT certification in WA (PE preferred)
- 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple assignments
- Excellent communication and client management abilities

Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 annual salary
