Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts from schematics under the mentorship of experienced designers and engineers.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to translate schematic intent into reliable PCB designs.
- Schedule and lead design review meetings for assigned projects, incorporating feedback and driving design improvements.
- Apply engineering change orders (ECOs) to PCB layouts and associated documentation.
- Perform component placement, routing, and design rule implementation with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
- Conduct layout‑based simulations.
- Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerbers, drawings, BOMs) to support manufacturing.
- Support PCB fabrication, assembly, and test by working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve design issues.
- Adhere to and help maintain PCB design standards and IPC guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Allegro, Xpedition, Altium, Solidworks, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating and managing ECAD libraries (symbols, footprints, and components).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple designs and deadlines.
- Commitment to providing unmatched customer service.
