Atlas Geosciences NW, a growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level environmental geologist/scientist/engineer for one of our offices in Puyallup/Tacoma, Issaquah, or Olympia, or remotely in the Portland/Vancouver, Everett, or Bellingham areas. This is a full-time salary position performing and/or overseeing (depending on experience) soil, groundwater and/or soil vapor investigations, executing or managing remediation projects, and various research, report writing, and other office tasks.
Experience writing reports is required.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering and/or other relevant science and have a minimum of 7 years of direct environmental consulting experience (above and beyond advanced degree or other institutional research work). No mud logging resumes please. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred. WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred. All inquiries and interviews are 100% confidential.
