Deli Attendant

The Deli Attendant is responsible for providing superior guest service to casino guests while performing duties at the deli counter. Responsibilities include serving hot and cold beverages, preparing and serving food, handling inventory, and stocking counters, display coolers, the sandwich bar, and the steam table neatly and according to holding requirements. The Deli Attendant ensures all display equipment remains neat, clean, and free of debris during business hours, while maintaining the cleanliness of the deli area as needed.

Additional job duties may be assigned by the department manager.

Starting wage is $17.03/hr increasing to $17.61/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum one year counter experience is required
• Previous food handling is required
• Must be able to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Must have valid Washington State food handler's card

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• Must be able to bend, reach and squat
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
