Role Description

The Loan Officer Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in Tacoma, WA. This position involves assisting Loan Officers with the loan process, including outbound phone calls, prospecting, gathering and preparing loan documents, reviewing client information, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service. The Loan Officer Assistant will communicate regularly with clients, support the sales process, and coordinate with team members to ensure an efficient and seamless loan approval process.

Accuracy, timeliness, and communication are key components of the role.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with Loan Officers and a strong understanding of mortgage-related support processes
  • Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including underwriting guidelines and compliance
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills to ensure positive client interactions and satisfaction
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to support clients and collaborate with team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with loan origination systems and financial software is a plus
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced financial services environment is beneficial
  • Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
  • AI development is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in financial services are advantageous
