The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines, and utilizing Aderant software to streamline billing operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Preparation: Generate and review invoices using Aderant software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines.
• Billing Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze billing reports to track outstanding balances and billing performance.
• Client Communication: Address client inquiries regarding billing issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with firm policies and client requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of billing activities and client interactions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of billing experience and accounts payable.

Plus:

• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Aderant software.
