School Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, Washington

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tacoma, WA, to support student communication development through two maternity leave contracts. These roles provide a chance to apply specialized skills in speech-language pathology within an educational setting.

• Assignment 1:
  Full-time from September 4 to January 31
• Assignment 2:
  Part-time, 2 days per week, starting ASAP through EOSY

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student outcomes
• Communicate therapy goals and achievements with all stakeholders

• Valid SLP certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Experience in pediatric speech and language services within schools
• Knowledge of state and federal guidelines related to special education
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy to diverse student needs
