Roles & Responsibilities   Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions under the direction of the supervising PT
Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities to improve outcomes
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the PT and interdisciplinary team
Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in the patient record
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
Maintain equipment, ensure a safe treatment environment, and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications   Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Washington state or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
Completion of an accredited PTA program (Associate degree or higher)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Comfortable working with a diverse adult patient population in a rehab/contract setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a rehab team
Prior experience as a PTA preferred but new grads from accredited programs are welcome to apply
Education   Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program (required)
Additional coursework or certifications in rehab specialties a plus
Knowledge & Skills   Solid knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles and functional training
Skilled in gait training, transfers, and use of assistive devices
Good clinical documentation and time-management skills
Ability to follow care plans and modify interventions based on patient response
Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient rehab environments and safety protocols
