Cath Lab / EP (Combined Unit – One Team Approach) Suites/Labs: 2 Cath Lab suites 1 Vascular suite Average Cases: ~22 total cases/day (Cath + EP) May start with 15 scheduled cases + up to 15 add-ons Open Positions RNs:
Cath Lab (CCL), EP, Prep/Recovery Technologists:
Cath Lab & EP Certifications Required Techs: RCIS, RT, or RCES RNs:
Cardiac procedural experience required Common Cases / Patient Types Right & Left heart cath (with/without intervention) Structural heart & vascular cases TAVR Mitral Clip IABP & Impella insertion (knowledge required) Job Duties RNs Circulate Sedate Monitor Document Prep & Recovery (preferred) Cardiac procedural experience required Technologists Scrub Monitor Document Must have Cath Lab and EP experience Experience Required Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience Sedation experience required Phase I recovery experience required ICU or PACU experience a plus Prep / Recovery Epic experience preferred Must be comfortable with sedation & Phase I recovery Ask specifically about prep and recovery experience EMR / Equipment EPIC Mac Lab GE Imaging Schedule 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM + call Often work past scheduled end time to complete cases Call Requirement: 8–10 call days per 6-week period On-call when not in-house Floating:
May assist in EP lab All suites operate within same combined unit Leadership Structure Charge Nurse / Lead Nurse Lead Technologist (when staffing allows) Supervisor / Director oversight Orientation 1 week unit-specific orientation Additional Notes Strong team player required Must have Epic knowledge and familiarity with GE imaging equipment Provided scrub color/dress code
