Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing patient care for neonates to geriatrics, including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and psychiatric patients, in various off-campus emergency departments. The nurse will manage ventilated patients and may float between sites as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide care to intubated patients and manage ventilator/BiPAP as there are no RTs onsite.
Administer medications, including mixing your own medications under video supervision of pharmacy.
Float to other Off-Campus Emergency Departments (OCEDs) as needed.
Participate in charge nurse duties as required, with training provided if necessary.
Requirements:
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC.
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; CAP requires 5 years minimum.
Strong ED experience and strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of medication administration, chest tubes, central lines, and IV skills.
Completion of Traveler Telemetry Competency prior to start.
