Job Description:

This role involves providing nursing care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, focusing on patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including respiratory issues, trauma, and chronic illnesses. The registered nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage respiratory patients, including those on CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators.
• Care for patients with medical conditions such as asthma, MIS-C, and diabetes.
• Support surgical patients with conditions including appendectomies and VP shunting.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation.
• Float to Med Surg or NICU as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, PALS.
• Skills in aseptic techniques, ventilator management, and Epic EMR use are preferred.
