What We Offer
  • Excellent starting pay range: $25.18 - $27.07 per hour
  • First Responder pay: $75.00 per pay period (2 times per month)
  • Ability to earn additional pay: based on performance

Training and Supervision
  • Extensive training (e.g., WISE, De‑Escalation, etc.)
  • Daily supervision and support, as needed
Responsibilities

CPC (Youth Partners) collaborate, provide support and help facilitate services for youth and their families receiving Family Behavioral Health Services. As a member of a team, the Youth Partner helps a youth voice their own perspective and ensures that other team members understand and incorporate that perspective into treatment planning. The position helps youth, parents, and families develop confidence and teamwork on a recovery journey, maintaining hope for success beyond formal behavioral health services.

The focus is on achieving long‑term safety and stability for children, youth, and families through active partnership and community support. The role is based out of the FBH Northend, Tacoma, WA site and requires scheduling flexibility to meet youth and family needs, with services provided in community settings and family homes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age 21 or older.
  • Personal (lived) experience as a youth who has received community/mental health services within the past ten years.
  • Acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy (required to provide current driving abstract) with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and current auto registration.
  • Must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi‑cultural situations.
