Banquet Houseperson

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Set‑Up Attendant to join the team at Hotel Murano, part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio.

• Assist with setup, preparation, and teardown of banquet rooms for functions.
• Assemble and arrange conference equipment per event order.
• Clean conference rooms, classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms according to standards, remove trash, restock supplies.
• Provide refreshments during meal and coffee breaks.
• Support special projects as directed.
• Move convention material, program boxes, etc., from receiving docks, registration areas, guests' rooms or suites.
• Bus tables and reset as needed.
• Resolve guest issues and create a positive experience.
• Maintain communication with culinary and stewarding staff.
• Maintain awareness of all functions, events, and meetings occurring at any time.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Can accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Problem solver.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Comfortable on feet throughout shift with intermittent walking and stair climbing.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to bend, squat, push and pull frequently.

Salary: $17.13 – $17.13 per hour.
