Onsite Software Asset & Microsoft 365 License Manager

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Software Asset & Microsoft 365 License Manager to support enterprise software asset management, Microsoft licensing, Microsoft 365 license administration, Azure subscription tracking, and software compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Microsoft Enterprise Agreements, Microsoft Volume Licensing, Microsoft 365 subscriptions, Azure subscriptions, Software Assurance Benefits, and software license compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of software asset management processes, entitlement analysis, license reconciliation, and vendor agreement management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft software license agreements, Microsoft 365 license entitlements, Azure subscriptions, Software Assurance Benefits, and related compliance documentation.
  • Analyze purchase records, contracts, EULAs, enterprise agreements, Microsoft 365 subscriptions, Azure subscriptions, and other entitlement records using Microsoft licensing and administrative portals.
  • Organize and validate purchase and entitlement information to establish accurate summaries of software license rights and obligations.
  • Partner with vendor managers, product owners, application managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect, organize, and manage licensed software assets.
  • Support the normalization, management, and summarization of software purchase and entitlement data.
  • Define entitlement and inventory scope to ensure license entitlement and deployment inventory information are properly aligned.
  • Lead reconciliation activities and prepare final license position reports.
  • Support the full software asset lifecycle, including licensing, purchasing, deployment, tracking, compliance, renewal, true‑up, and decommissioning.
  • Manage enterprise software asset management projects across the full SAM lifecycle, including analysis, reporting, stakeholder communication, and project closure.
  • Ensure changes to vendor agreements are accurately reflected in the Software Asset Management platform.
  • Create and update software counters for software titles and licenses.
  • Support Microsoft SAM engagements, license renewals, and true‑up activities.
  • Ensure software license contracts, agreements, license records, installations, and hardware‑device linkages are accurately reflected in the ITAM/SAM repository.
  • Analyze new or modified software agreements, maintenance contracts, and licensing changes to determine impact on software counters and compliance positions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly software license compliance status reports for management and stakeholder review.
  • Process software‑related requests, including new software requests, changes, upgrades, renewals, and license adjustments.
  • Review software compliance against existing license agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Work with software vendors to renew and true‑up licensing contracts.
  • Support software asset management process improvement initiatives, including procedure development and SOP documentation.
  • Provide expertise in consolidation, enhancement, and management of Adobe or similar enterprise licensing programs.
  • Support project portfolio management, budget planning, license utilization tracking, cost analysis, and reporting.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of in‑depth knowledge of Microsoft licensing structures.
  • 11+ years of strong knowledge and work experience with software asset lifecycle management processes, including planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
  • 5+ years of experience with software asset management, Microsoft 365 licensing portal, and Microsoft Volume Licensing portal.
  • 4+ years of experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions.
  • 4+ years of experience administering Microsoft Enterprise Contracts and subscription‑based services.
