Advocate

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Advocate to join a growing team. As a Benefits Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting the clients by coordinating employee benefits, answering inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication with insurance carriers. • Salary
  : $50,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
• Reimbursement for training to obtain Life & Health (L&H) license, if not already licensed.
• Location
  :
  Fully in-office position.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing questions about coverage, billing, and eligibility.
• Process enrollments, terminations, and benefit changes accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve client issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Update policies and manage claims as needed.
• Assist during renewal seasons by preparing documents and supporting the team.
• Maintain a small book of business, coordinating employee benefit packets and assisting clients with their personal benefits.

• Education & Experience
  :
  • 1-2 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, healthcare, or human resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
• Licenses
  :
  • Life & Health (L&H) license preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one (training and reimbursement provided).
