We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a growing practice in Tacoma, WA. This is a On-Site role focused on Washington-based family law litigation, including divorce, parenting plans, and related domestic relations matters.
Role OverviewThe attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting motions, handling depositions, and working closely with clients. This position is ideal for a self-sufficient litigator who enjoys courtroom work and client advocacy.
CompensationCompensation is not based on a fixed scale and will depend on what the candidate brings to the role. Key factors include:
- Meaningful Washington family law experience
- Depth of courtroom and litigation experience
- Ability to operate independently
- Whether the candidate brings a portable book of family law clients
Broadly, compensation is expected to fall within the $120,000–$180,000 range
, plus benefits. The final offer will be tied directly to experience, demonstrated capability, and any client origination.
- Handle divorce, parenting plan, and related family law matters
- Draft and argue motions
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage cases independently while collaborating with firm leadership
- Maintain strong client communication throughout the case lifecycle
- Active Washington State Bar license
- Litigation and courtroom experience required
- Family law experience strongly preferred (or strong interest in transitioning into family law)
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
